Salitis

Salitis
Greek name given by the Hebrew historian Josephus, who derived it from Manetho for the first Hyksos ruler of Dynasty 15. The Austrian expedition at Avaris recently discovered a fragmentary inscription with part of a royal titulary of King Seker-Hor, who may well be identifiable with the first Hyksos ruler.
